Step 1: Unbox and Inspect

• Carefully unbox your Luva PowerChop, ensuring all parts are included: the base unit with the motor, two bowls (glass and stainless steel), two sets of bi-level blades, lid, and safety covers.

Step 2: Assembly

• Choose the appropriate bowl for your task (use the glass bowl for vegetables, and the stainless steel bowl for meat to avoid cross-contamination).
• Place the selected bowl on the base unit, ensuring it is securely seated.
• Insert the corresponding set of bi-level blades into the bowl. The blades should click into place firmly.

Step 3: Add Ingredients

• Prepare your ingredients by cutting them into smaller pieces if necessary.
• Place the ingredients into the bowl, making sure not to overfill (do not exceed the 8-cup capacity mark).

Step 4: Secure the Lid

• Place the lid on top of the bowl, ensuring it aligns properly with the bowl and base.
• Lock the lid into place by rotating it until it clicks. This will ensure the safety mechanisms are engaged.

Step 5: Select Speed Setting

• Choose the appropriate speed setting using the control panel on the base unit.

Step 6: Start Processing

• Press the power button to start the Luva PowerChop. Hold down the button for continuous operation or pulse for short bursts of chopping or grinding.
• Monitor the processing through the transparent glass bowl (if using the glass bowl) to achieve the desired consistency.

Step 7: Stop and Check

• Release the power button to stop the processing. The automatic stopping mechanism will ensure the blades stop spinning immediately once the motor is disengaged.
• Check the texture of your ingredients. If needed, you can process further by repeating the previous step.

Step 8: Remove the Lid and Ingredients

• Unplug the Luva PowerChop before removing the lid to ensure safety.
• Carefully unlock and remove the lid. Use a spatula to transfer the processed ingredients to your dish or container.

Step 9: Clean Up

• Remove the blades and bowl from the base unit.
• Wash the bowl and blades in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The base unit can be wiped clean with a damp cloth—do not immerse the motor base in water.

Step 10: Storage

• Store the Luva PowerChop in a cool, dry place. The compact design allows it to fit easily in most kitchen cabinets.
• Keep the blades in their safety covers to protect both the blades and your fingers.

• For best results, cut large ingredients into smaller pieces before processing.
• To avoid over-processing, use the pulse function for quick, controlled bursts.
• Regularly check the blade sharpness to ensure optimal performance.

• Always unplug the Luva PowerChop before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than 30 seconds continuously. Allow a few minutes to cool down between long processing sessions.
